We will continue to work on using like to, want to and need to correctly in sentences. We add an infinitive after the word, “to.” Example: Sue likes to cook desserts, and she is a very good cook. We use infinitives when we want to change a verb to an adjective, adverb, or noun. Example: Bill likes to play soccer. To use infinitives, we add “to” before the base form of the verb. Example: Mike likes to go shopping on the weekends.
Remember: add “to” + the base form of the verb. Example: to dance
Students will also start planning for the writing assignment about jobs.
REMINDER: There will be a test on the Jobs unit on Monday, Nov. 4
