Hello Class!

I hope that you had a nice weekend. We will continue to learn how to use Google Classroom to complete and turn in assignments today.

Students will review simple past tense verbs by completing an assignment. Students will also begin to work on a autobiography writing assignment about their past.

Welcome to Mel’s 10E Blog!

I’m Melanie Fenton and I’m teaching your 10E (Intro EAL) course that begins on Friday, Sept. 11 and ends in January, 2021.

Use this blog when you’ve missed a class so you can catch up on any work we have done in class. Assignments are not posted here so you have to come to class to get them.

You may also use this blog to check out any of the links to YouTube clips, films, readings, etc. that I’ll provide to extend your understanding of course-related topics.

Students will be using Google Classroom to complete assignments both in class and at home. It is important that students have a computer/laptop and access to the internet. There are some computers/chromebooks available to borrow from the school. Contact the office to find out more information about this. Students will need to use their school email for all school communication. No personal emails will be allowed at school.

Here is information on how to use Google Classroom:

I hope you all enjoy this class and learn a lot!
