Today is Orange Shirt Day. On Orange Shirt Day, schools across Canada honour Indigenous survivors of the residential school system by encouraging students to wear orange. We will watch a film about Residential Schools called “Where are the Children?” and learn more about this terrible part of Canada’s history.

We will also have a student bbq at 12:00 today. Come to class and we will go downstairs to get hot dogs together. There will also be a draw to win a Chromebook. Make sure to come to school today!
