Students worked on completing the Ch. 4 & Ch. 5 assignments and the reflections (turn in). There will be a quiz on Ch. 3 & 4 vocabulary this week.
In Chapter 5, we noticed an apostrophe was used after an s, several times. This is used when there is a plural possessive noun.
Example for Ch. 5:
“However, the Obamas’ life as new parents was very different from Michelles’ parents.” (pg. 54)
We will discuss this further in class tomorrow. There is more information about this below.
